Juneau County Sheriff’s Office is located at the Juneau County Justice Center, 200 Oak Street, Room 1110, Mauston, Wisconsin 53948, and reachable by telephone at 608-847-5649 or fax at 608-847-9401. From here, the Sheriff’s Department serves as the primary law enforcement agency in the region. Hence, it has 50 sworn deputies who work consistently in promoting, preserving, and delivering law enforcement services to the locals. The services are grouped into the following programs: – 

1. Crime Investigations 

The Sheriff’s Department has a team of detectives tasked with investigating crimes ranging from sexual assault, property and violent crimes, drug investigations, and stolen vehicles. Likewise, the detectives collect DNA and property evidence, process it, and perform fingerprinting to solve vast types of investigations.  

2. Patrols 

The Patrol Team in Juneau County, WI, comprises a captain, two lieutenants, and 17 deputy sheriffs who patrol all the 19 townships in Juneau County, WI, on a 24/7 basis. Here, the team seeks to enforce the local, state, and federal laws, respond to calls for service, investigate traffic incidents and accidents, serve warrants of arrest, and offer assistance to the dispatch team during emergencies.
