About Langlade County 

A quick fact about Langlade County is that it is one of the less populated counties in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Based on the 2020 census, the county had a population of 19,491, occupying 888 square miles (2,300 km2). The dominant race here has always been White, contributing to over 90% of the entire population. Historically, the county was formed on March 3, 1879, and was initially referred to as  New County. Later on February 20, 1880, the county changed its name to Langlade County for Charles de Langlade. February 19, 1881, was the start of its self-governance; on this day, it became fully organized in matters of administration and dependence.
