Waupaca County Inmate Search

Waupaca County has a county jail that is the hub of all criminals charged with violations of Wisconsin state and federal laws and Waupaca county ordinances. Under Lieutenant Jason Russell’s management and jail administrator Captain Adam Wogsland, the facility houses all inmates with various charges from low misdemeanors to severe charges like murder and drug-related offenses. The facility is located at 1402 Royalton St, Waupaca, WI 54981, United States.

However, most inmates here are those awaiting trial, who cannot pay bail and awaiting transfer to state and federal prisons. Inmates incarcerated in the facility after conviction and sentencing are low misdemeanor offenders with charges of less than a year.

How can you find an inmate in Waupaca County?

WCSO is responsible for all these inmates, meaning that the jail is the perfect place to start when you want to find an inmate in Waupaca County. The jail maintains an online jail roster with an inmate list. Wisconsin Public Informations Act mandates this office to make the information on these inmates, excluding sealed, medical, and expunged information, accessible to the public.

On the page, you can find an inmate by name. Inputting the offender’s full name will help you locate all offenders with that name. Moreover, when you tap on the offender’s name, you will be able to see their mugshot and other personal information to help you figure out whether that’s the inmate you wish to locate.

On this list, you can view the offender’s information, such as their:

  • Full names and aliases.
  • Date of birth and incarceration.
  • Booking records.
  • Criminal records.
  • Case file and nature of the offense.

Since sometimes the booking process may take longer than expected, you may not be able to find the inmate on the list, especially if they have been brought immediately into jail.

How to find an inmate if they are not on the jail roster

There are other alternatives to conducting Waupaca County Inmate Search if you cannot find an inmate on the jail roster. You can start by contacting the jail at 972-734-1111 and inquire about the whereabouts of your inmate. Ensure you have all the individual’s personal and distinguishing features at hand.

If you cannot manage to contact the jail directly, you can visit the jail lobby and inform the officer that you wish to locate an inmate. The officer will direct you on how and where to go.

Moreover, if that doesn’t work, you can visit the Wisconsin DOC Inmate Search database or FBOP Inmate Lookup tool and search by offender name or ID.

Waupaca Sex Offender Search

To locate a sex offender near you, you can visit the Waupaca County sex offender registry maintained by the WCSO. You can perform a search by:

  • Offender name.
  • Geographical location.

You can also call the WCSO to inquire for more information.
